Welcome to our ‘Be Our Guest’ page where you will find information about up-and-coming guest sessions and information about the speakers who have kindly donated their time to support others in our special peer support group sessions.

There are so many wonderful wellbeing stories and businesses in our community, we thought it was a great opportunity to invite people to share their experiences with our groups. Sharing stories, experiences, help and support is at the core of our peer support initiatives and our programme of guest speakers builds on this. It offers an opportunity to hear the stories of other local people, how their own lived experience has shaped their life and business decisions and often been the catalyst for big changes.

Our guest speakers have given their time freely to share their knowledge and experience in the hope it may help or inspire others, many have made wellbeing their business, all are passionate about mental health and wellbeing.

Dani Simpson

Dani Simpson is Author of ‘Resilient Brilliant You, 7 Mindsets to Live in Freedom from Dis-ease and Disease’, Founder of Strideintolife.com, Owner of Vitamin Sea Residency Herne Bay, NHS Walk and Talk Leader, and Wellbeing Activator for The Great Outdoor Gym Company.

Dani Simpson is Author of ‘Resilient Brilliant You, 7 Mindsets to Live in Freedom from Dis-ease and Disease’, Founder of Strideintolife.com, Owner of Vitamin Sea Residency Herne Bay, NHS Walk and Talk Leader, and Wellbeing Activator for The Great Outdoor Gym Company.

Mum of 3, she’s an accredited Health Coach who is passionate about equipping families to live with (mental, emotional and physical) resilience. Dani herself overcame ill health, depression, fibromyalgia, CFS and eczema with healthy mindsets, good food, prayer and meditation, and movement as medicine.

She meets people where they are at, supporting their desire to move away from challenging situations, mindsets and habits, and create life-giving new ways to live, think and be.

Her transformative steps and story are encouraging to all who hear them, and Dani’s ‘Worry to Wellness’ programme was developed here in Whitstable for children at The Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed School.

Dani understands first hand life’s challenges that can often seem overwhelming, and she is a field voice in the area of health and wellbeing.

Doda Panayiotou John Baptist

I’m a 60 year old retired Head teacher originally from North London. I have lived here in Tankerton with my husband, daughter and dog Marley since November 2020, having planned this move for years.

I joined the Bubbletit Bluetits when we moved here and took my first dip with the group April 2021. I have various health diagnosis and have found that cold water year round sea swimming a blessing.

I have met an amazing group of friends with a shared obsession  with the sea whilst soothing my aching bones and opening up my lungs.

The benefits to my mental health have been phenomenal as I also travel backwards and forwards regularly to North London to care for my 93 year old mum.

I look forward to sharing my wellbeing journey.
