Julie has suffered with anxiety since childhood (long before she knew that’s what it was) and it is this lived experience, along with her training, that informs a lot of her coaching.
She works with clients to help them understand their anxiety & develop coping strategies to reduce their symptoms, increase their confidence & self-worth to feel happier, healthier & more in control.
She creates a warm, supportive, wholly confidential environment for her clients to progress and make positive changes in their lives; to get from where they are, to where they want to be.

During our sessions, we will work together to identify the root causes of your anxiety & develop strategies to manage it. After struggling with anxiety for several years, I started practicing yoga as a way of helping me relax. I fell in love with how yoga helped me to connect with my body, my breath and the present moment.
I was inspired to share this gift of connection and calm with others. I qualified as a yoga teacher during lockdown and am currently doing a 2 year Diploma in Yoga Therapy. I believe we all have the potential within us to feel connected, calm and at peace despite the challenges and struggles we face. I work one to one and in small groups using movement, breath and mindfulness practices to ease the body and mind.
As part of the Mental Health Bank I will be offering group gentle yoga and breathing sessions. All of life takes practice and I look forward to sharing this practice with you.

Helen is a qualified Solution-Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist based at Evolution Health in Whitstable and a senior lecturer in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy in Plymouth. Her practice is based in neuroscience and Helen can help individuals change the neural pathways in their brain to alter their habits and find healthier solutions.
Helen’s journey to Hypnotherapy started years earlier in her previous life as an educator. Teaching students in colleges and universities in the UK, US and Western Pacific, Helen often encountered students with significant barriers to learning, whether that be confidence, motivation, exam stress or past trauma and difficulties in daily living. More and more she wanted to help her students become their best selves so that they could learn. Pastoral support was not enough and so she embarked on a counselling qualification. During this period of study, she was exposed to hypnotherapy and decided to switch her focus as the methods, she felt, were producing better and faster results.
Helen offers 1:1 sessions as well as group sessions for relaxation and reframing the mind to focus on a positive future. She can help with anxiety, depression, anger management, unhealthy habits and addictions, phobias, stress relief, sports performance, exam stress, public speaking, fertility, and childbirth. She works with children and adults.
Helen will be offering the following as part of the Mental Health Bank:
Want to feel relaxed? Let go of stress? Come and join me for a group relaxation session where you will learn how to change your thinking and cope better with stress. Lie back and close your eyes and let your mind drift as the music plays and Helen talks about all of the resources you have within you to be your best self.
You can contact Helen via email and for more information you can visit Helen’s website, her profile on Evolution Health and her profile on CPHT.

Sue lives in Whitstable where she walks her dog on the beach and in nearby woods, meeting up with friends and family when she can. Sue loves poetry, swimming, meditation and is an avid reader.
The bereavement group will run monthly as part of the Mental Health Bank.

I spent many years from an early age trying to understand why people struggled so much, and searching for the best ways to have a happier and healthier life. I threw myself into a career in alternative health qualifying as a homeopath and craniosacral therapist and then went on to train as a transformational wellbeing coach.
After many years still feeling like there was something more, I came across an understanding of how our minds work and that changed everything for me. We’re all doing what makes sense to us every one of us feels like life is spinning out of control at times, but that does not mean there is something wrong with you, that you have something missing, that you’re broken or that you don’t have the ability to cope.
What if life could be simple?
What if experiences like anxiety, anger or overwhelm could be okay and not need ‘fixing’?
What if feeling fulfilled and at ease with yourself required no forcing? What if you could achieve more, whilst striving less?
As part of the Mental Health Bank I will help you ‘Find your way back to Wellbeing’:
It is the human condition to lose sight of our wellbeing, of this natural state of calm clear-headedness, but there is a reliable way back to it, that you can learn to access, any time you like. It is this that I will guide you to in your sessions.

Mariana is kind, understanding and non-judgemental, as everyone has their own unique path. She doesn’t tell people what to do but explores the world of possibilities. It’s your choice for you to realise and take the first step of this next stage of your wonderful journey.
Ease out of your comfort zone with tools and ideas to feel right building your confidence and to reach your potential by feeling beautiful inside and out.
Reiki is a Japanese technique based on the 7 energy centres of the body, or chakras, for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that a universal life force energy flows through us all, which causes us to be alive. As a Reiki practitioner I treat the whole person including physical body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, less anxiety, better sleep, overall happiness, self-confidence and better physical health.
Having suffered some trauma throughout my life, I embarked on my healing and wellness journey and found that both energy and emotional blockage healing had a profound effect on my mental health and wellbeing. This lead me to train in reiki therapy and trauma massage therapy, the two modalities that have helped me the most on my journey.
Amber will be offering 1:1 reiki sessions as part of the Mental Health Bank.
Amber spends her days out in nature as a dog walker and is one of the co-founders of the campaign group SOS Whitstable, who fight for a cleaner coastline. She is passionate about helping our mother earth, including all of the humans and animals who live here.
Through her own journey in overcoming fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, endocrine dysfunction and chronic eczema she became passionate about helping others to prevent, redress and reverse their dis-ease and disease. She has a deep understanding of the science behind our symptoms and was inspired by nature, nutrition and movement from living inside Kew Gardens for 15 years where her dad was head of science research.
Dani meets people where they’re at and supports the ‘whole person’ to manage their emotions, redress negative thinking, plan effectively, transform mood and food, grow resilience, and improve lifestyle habits, movement and sleep. She understands the 11 body systems and the 3,6,36 week dynamic of breaking, starting and cementing new healthier lifestyle habits and neural pathways.
Her passion is that brain fog, emotional dis-ease, lethargy, elevated stress and ill health are replaced with good nutrition, resilience, energy, a balanced mood, movement and vitality in society. As a volunteer Dani holds an NCFE CACHE Level 2 in domestic abuse, is an NHS One You Leader, a mentor for Digital Boost, and the Wellness Activator for The Great Outdoor Gym Company.
Dani is offering group facilitated support sessions for the Mental Health Bank on a range of health concerns working together through the 7 Mindsets to Live in Freedom from Dis-ease and Disease.

Reflexology is a complementary and holistic therapy which aims to restore balance within a person’s body and mind by stimulating its own healing process. It is deeply relaxing and can help to reduce stress and anxiety. Jules also uses essential oils in her treatments where appropriate and this can deepen the treatment further.
Reflexology on the feet feels like a foot massage. Gentle or firm pressures are applied to reflex points and these points correspond to different areas of the body.
There are different theories on how reflexology works, from the neurological relationship between the skin and internal organs, to the neuromatrix theory of reducing pain by reducing stress and improving mood, through to unblocking energy pathways allowing energy to move more freely and as much as I personally love the ‘how’, it becomes less important when appreciating that all these approaches ultimately create an emotional and physical shift, allowing you to feel to feel balanced and more at ease.
Jules will be offering reflexology on the feet and/or hands and can offer self help reflex points to help at home when the need arises. If appropriate, Jules will also add 1 or 2 essential oils into the blend used on the feet. Each treatment is individual to each person and will generally last between 45-60 minutes.

Taking a short break from the
Mental Health Bank
Toto has worked in the worlds of advertising, PR, music and film for the past two decades. Industries that offer lots of ‘excitement’ but very little in the way of wellness or balance. This mirrored a lot of his upbringing. His father ‘escaped’ the Troubles in Northern Ireland and his working-class roots to find fame on British TV but struggled with numerous mental health battles. His brother Hugo tragically lost his life to depression.
Through his own journey to tackle his anxiety (and recent ADHD diagnosis) – Toto has become acutely aware of a lack of mental health support in creative industries and across all sections of society. He trained as a YTT200 hour breath-based Hatha yoga teacher in 2020 and is completing a Yoga Alliance 80 hour meditation coaching course. He’s passionate about improving health and happiness in society and volunteers with St John Ambulance, is a board trustee of ThickSkin (not for profit theatre company), and recently joined Revival Food & Mood as strategic committee member.
Toto strives to spread awareness on how yoga can be used as a tool to improve mental health – it invites inner stillness, unifies mind and body, and helps with everything from stress to mood. He’s also passionate about showing people how yoga is for everyone, regardless of experience or flexibility.
Toto will be offering group yoga sessions for everyone, but especially for anyone who may never have tried yoga before, or may think they are not flexible enough.
I am Cassie, a qualified Herbalist, who runs the Therapy Tea Bar inside the wonderfully unique Revival Cafe. I embarked on my herbal journey after being diagnosed with two neurological illnesses during the pandemic.
I found the power of herbs, after turning to alternative methods when the side effects of my prescribed medications were wreaking havoc on my body. I started using herbs to support my health and wellbeing, which in-turn led to me finding a passion, not only for herbs but to help others, like me who want to find alternative ways to manage and support their own health.
I will be offering consultations and support to find the best herbal remedies to suit your specific health needs.

After moving to Whitstable 2 years ago I have been involved with Revival as I have a keen interest in mental health. I hold community yoga classes locally for all abilities and ages with emphasis on meditation, breathing, stretching the body (with adaptions for any physical limitations) and relaxation. Classes are held inside, in nature and on-line so that no one is excluded.
Tracy will be offering chair based yoga exercises as part of the Mental Health Bank, using a blend of simple yoga poses to strengthen the body and calm the mind. In addition breathing techniques and mindfulness meditation will be introduced. All abilities are welcome.
