Fundraising for us

Welcome to our fundraising page where you are invited to be as creative, quirky or imaginative as you’d like in support of local mental health.

Whether you are challenging yourself to climb a mountain, complete a triathlon or eat as many baked beans with a cocktail stick in under a minute, we would love to be your charity of choice!

It is simple enough to set up your own JustGiving page for your challenge/activity or event, you can either transfer the funds once you have completed your task or contact us beforehand for the Revival bank details for your page set up. You don’t even need to do that, you can simply donate directly to Revival after your fundraising via our donate page, either way we would also love to share your efforts on our page, so whether you are donating the proceeds of a Salsa class, a cake sale, charity football match, or sponsored walk, run or jump, please do get in touch and let us know your plans.

We hugely appreciate the support and generosity of our community, as a charitable social enterprise organisation we are reliant on a mixed income stream from trading, grant funding and donations. Community is at the heart of everything we do and we know that working together we can make a real difference to the lives of local people.

Please message us if you have a fundraising event or idea to share:

Run with the Sun staged to support mental health

Members of Tankerton Running Club took part in an eight-hour relay run to raise the profile of mental health services in Whitstable over the winter.

Twenty one club members took part in the run with a further 25 acting as marshals and in support roles. The relay took part on Britain’s shortest day with participants taking on a circular 5km route in Tankerton from 7.58am through to sunset at 3.50pm.

The Run with the Sun was staged to support Revival Food and Mood. The mental health café is currently refurbishing its new high street premises which will act as a base for a wide variety of wellbeing support for those in need across the district. With construction work beginning Revival is delivering a wide range of outreach services including talking circles, walk and talk sessions and Make, Mend and Motivate groups. Clients learn tips and techniques to improve their wellbeing while gaining confidence in social situations.

Deborah Haylett, Revival Executive Director said: “We are so grateful to Tankerton Running Group for staging the Run with the Sun to support Revival Food and Mood this year. The work underway at our new high street premises will be transformative for the way we support those in mental health distress in the town and the sponsorship raised by the event is really appreciated.

“This time of year is often difficult as we remember family members and friends who are no longer with us. If you or a family member is struggling then please visit the Revival website to find out how we can help.”

    Our JustGiving Campaigns

We are currently raising funds to renovate an old disused building at 58 High Street, Whitstable to relocate our beloved Revival Food & Mood cafe and wellness hub so we can be there for our community with free, accessible mental health support in calm, inclusive and inviting surroundings with great food and music.

The spiraling cost of building materials means that we still have some way to go to reach our target. We have been actively raising funds for over a year, including ring-fencing funds raised from bespoke mental health training to businesses and organization and wonderful local support with donations from car-boot sales, ebay sales and fantastic contributions from a local ultra-marathon runner, a brilliant quiz night and a foot-stomping SugarSoul benefit gig.

You can help us get to the finish line, if you would like to help with the last big push you can either donate directly via our DONATE! button or via our JustGiving page set up by our parent Charity Mind in Bexley and East Kent (all proceeds will go directly to Revival). You are also welcome to set up your own JustGiving page and donate the proceeds directly to Revival via cheque, BACS or the DONATE! button.
