Charles Cousens & his team at Whitstable Awnings and Blinds

Perfect Pergola: Whitstable Awnings & Blinds are Silver Revival Champions!
The important task of providing sheltered use of the Revival Food & Mood patio and seating area has been achieved via the generous support of Charles Cousens and his team at Whitstable Awnings and Blinds. Our crucial outside space will be used to develop our Living Larder and a peer support patio garden club. This will allow users to experience the mental health and wellbeing benefits of working with plants and growing from scratch.
We are enormously grateful to Charles and his team for being Silver Revival Champions, and helping us to keep mental health support on the High Street. Having realised the importance of the work our charity undertakes; Charles negotiated a significant discount from the pergola manufacturers @Markilux and donated his company’s installation time for free. In total he was able to donate £3K towards the works. We are thrilled with the outcome and can now look forward to developing the space, whatever the weather.
You can find Charles and his team via their website or via: 01227 905866.

Matthew Flain & Team at Canterbury Travis Perkins

The mission to transform our Whitstable High Street premises into the Revival Cafe and Wellbeing Hub received a wonderfully generous boost from the team at Canterbury Travis Perkins. As Gold Revival Champions they donated building materials valued at £3,200 to support the construction work at the Revival Food and Mood Café and bring our mental health initiatives back to the High Street. A lorryload of items including timber, architrave, bags of plaster and plaster board were provided to speed the project on.
Matthew Flain, Branch Manager of Travis Perkins Canterbury, said: “Men’s health is a massive topic for us as a company because it goes to the heart of supporting the welfare of our staff. Revival’s mission aligns with a number of our values and beliefs around helping people in those situations. I thought this was a great cause and a local one as well so was delighted to donate some stock to help the team out.”
The store also manages one of our Charity Collection boxes for in-store donations.
