Revival Sounds Social

First Thursday of every month | 5–9pm | Revival Food & Mood, Whitstable

In partnership with Gatefield Sounds, Revival Sounds Social brings a relaxed evening of great music, good food and local community. Each month features an eclectic mix of vinyl and DJ sets curated by the Gatefield team, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind and connect.  Enjoy drinks, cake and a laid-back crowd who love music as much as we do.

All proceeds from the night support the Revival Lates Youth Café, helping us provide a safe and creative space for young people in Whitstable.

Seven by Seven @ 7pm

Vinyl Open Decks Night at Revival

Not running during December, back on the 30th January.

Join us on the last Friday of every month, from 7pm for Seven by Seven @ 7pm, our vinyl open decks social night.

The Format: An open-decks vinyl night inspired by the Leeds’ Seven by Seven club. Bring up to seven of your 7″ singles (or pick from ours) and take a turn on the decks – no competition, no pressure, just good tunes. We’ll draw names from a pot to determine the running order, and volunteer DJs will be on hand to help. If the turnout is high, sets may be slightly shortened to allow more people to play. Or, if you’d rather not spin, you’re welcome to just come and listen.  Bar open and food available.

All proceeds support the Revival Community Mental Health Programme.

Revival Community Awards

The inaugural Revival Community Awards was held at Canterbury Christ Church University on Sunday 29 March in front of an invited audience of 160 people.

The awards ceremony, hosted by Revival Food & Mood and East Kent Mind, celebrated the individuals reviving our businesses, clubs and charities. Winners included unsung heroes of the workplace, volunteers, community and business leaders, as well as champions of mental health.

💪🏼Not Just for Sporty People...This week our Executive Director Deborah stepped out and onto a padel court as part of our new partnership with Smash Padel Whitstable. As someone who openly admits to not being particularly sporty, and who understands the nerves that can come with trying something new, she wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But a few regulars could attend this week so she was invited to join. What followed was an hour of laughter, encouragement, movement and connection. Our latest blog shares her honest experience of joining the session, overcoming those first-day nerves, and discovering that exercise doesn’t have to mean gyms, pressure or competition. Sometimes it can simply be about having fun, meeting people and giving yourself permission to try something different.A huge thank you to Marianne and the team at Smash Padel for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment @smashpadel_whitstable @kenttennis Read the full story on our website 👇Link in comments and bio#moveforyourmood #SmashPadel #Whitstable #MentalHealth ...
