Whitstable Darts League Donation

We were delighted to welcome Nick from the Whitstable Thursday Darts League to Revival this week, where he presented a fantastic £400 donation to support our Community Mental Health Programme.

The league has been part of Whitstable life for many years, bringing together players from pubs across the town.

Although not a charity league, they make a point of giving back at the end of each season by donating a portion of players’ subscriptions to local causes. This year, they chose Revival.

In their own words:

“Mental health has become more prominent of late and it affects more people in different ways than it has been realised before. Revival has become part of the community where people can get together for a coffee and a chat or, with the support groups you run, maybe a little more. This is why the donation has been made – to help you help others.”

Their support means a great deal. Every contribution helps us provide drop-ins, peer groups, creative wellbeing activities, and social connection for people who may otherwise struggle alone. It’s local generosity like this that keeps Revival’s doors open and our community support free and accessible.

The Whitstable Thursday Darts League currently has 137 players, and they’re always looking for new teams and players to join. It’s a fun, sociable league rather than a high-pressure competition – a great way to meet people and get involved in the community. Anyone interested can contact Nick on 07919 542867.

A huge thank you to Nick and everyone in the league for thinking of Revival and supporting local mental health.

If your team, workplace, group, or club would like to support Revival’s work, we’d love to chat. Community fundraising is vital to keeping these services going.
