We’re excited to be bringing a Junior Bake Off to our Revival Community Funday – a fun, creative and community-led event where young bakers can show off their skills, get involved, and help raise money for a brilliant cause.

 

This year’s Bake Off is proudly supported by Copperfields Cook Shop, Whitstable, a much-loved local independent known for its passion for baking, quality kitchenware and support for home bakers. Their team will be joining us to judge the competition and provide fantastic prizes, bringing real expertise and a touch of Bake Off magic to the day.

How it Works

● Bake your cake/traybake/cupcakes/biscuits at home and bring along on the day ● Your bake will be judged by our panel ● Winners will receive prizes from Copperfields ● All cakes will then be sold to raise funds for Revival Youth Café

Categories

● Ages 5–11 ● Ages 12–18

Each category will have:

● ⭐ Star Baker (Overall Winner) ● Most Creative Bake

Entry ● Entry fee: £1 per bake ● Entry must be completed online ● Places are limited – your place is only secured once payment is made

All proceeds from both entry fees and cake sales will go directly towards supporting Revival Youth Café and our Community Mental Health Programme.

 

Guidelines & Important Information Please read carefully before entering:

Your Bake

● One entry per child ● Whole cake, traybake, cupcakes or biscuits all welcome ● Bakes can be made with help from an adult, but children should take the lead ● Must be ready to serve and portionable

Labelling (Essential)

On the day, your bake must be clearly labelled with:

● Name ● Age ● Name/type of bake ● Full allergen information ● Contact details

🚫 Food & Safety

● Bakes must be thoroughly/properly cooked ● No raw ingredients (e.g. raw egg mixtures) ● Must be safe to eat and transported securely ● Revival cannot refrigerate items ● All bakes must be suitable for public sale

Containers

● Please bring your bake in a clearly labelled container – as above ● Containers must be collected by 4pm on the day ● Any uncollected containers will be disposed of

On the Day

● Cakes must be delivered by 11:00am ● Judging will take place late morning ● Winners will be announced during the event ● All cakes will then be sold to raise funds
