✨👼🏾ANGELS ✨🌿will appear ✨ Well they certainly did tonight after waiting in for a delayed delivery of our hedges for tomorrows community planting day, they finally arrived at 5:30pm piled high on giant pallets, that wouldn’t fit through the door and with just me to receive them. Trying not to be phased I started the trek back and forth through the cafe to the patio, when I heard some say “are you on your own?” “Oh no don’t worry I said, I’m fine” - not wanting to put the kindly stranger out, ‘oh no she said I will help” so the amazing Steph rolled up her sleeves and found crates to put the plants in and she was off working like a trouper. We were down to second pallet, and I’ll admit I was flagging, then I heard a loud “Debbie, are you ok, you need any help!?” It was the powerhouse Fran (once chef at Revival), and Gabby; I was not going to protest this time! Before I knew it it was done, and I only had the sweeping up to do, what would have probably taken me at least an hour was done in 20 minutes, the power of people and the wonderful women of Whitstable 💥💪🏼 Thank you angels (who refused a photo) You are simply the best ♥️![]()
