A very productive day at our Right to Grow garden! 🌱☀️💚![]()
Our brilliant team of volunteers have been busy giving the garden some much-needed TLC in the sunshine - weeding the paths, supporting the tomato plants (which are doing amazingly well!), generally tidying everything up and, importantly, drought-proofing our bay hedge to help it through this very dry weather.![]()
This did mean quite a serious haircut for the bay 😂 - but nothing is going to waste!![]()
We’ve left lots of fresh bay leaves in a pot by the shed, so please help yourselves if you’re passing. They’re brilliant for adding to tomato sauces, soups, stews and curries, but you can also use them to flavour rice or potatoes, make bay-leaf tea, or add a few leaves to homemade lemonade or summer cordials. You can dry them at home too and keep them for cooking later in the year. 🌿![]()
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and got stuck in. It takes a lot of work to keep the garden growing, particularly in this heat, and we really couldn’t do it without our volunteers. 💚![]()
And judging by the tomatoes, hopefully there’ll be plenty more to share before too long! 🍅![]()

🌟 What’s Happening at Revival
Revival is all about community, connection, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. From our monthly music socials to our community quiz, every event is built around bringing people together in a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere.
🎧 Why your support matters
When you come along, grab a drink, take part, or share what we’re doing, you’re helping us fund our weekly mental‑health and wellbeing groups. These sessions give people a safe, open space to talk, connect, and feel supported — and your involvement helps keep those conversations going.
💛 Be part of it
Show up, show some love, and help us keep building a community where mental health is something we talk about openly, not quietly.
