Every week the community garden just gets better and better!!🐝![]()
Yesterday our volunteers were busy in the hot sun harvesting the courgettes and baby beetroot. 🥒![]()
Bug houses were being created and the herb garden expanded with stepping stones added for east access.🐝🐛🐞![]()
All the produce is growing beautifully and there’s still so much to do!🌸🌼![]()

What started with a few nervous introductions and plenty of “I’ve never done this before” is slowly turning into something much bigger.![]()

Over the past few weeks we’ve watched people grow in confidence, encourage each other, share laughs, celebrate small victories and discover that wellbeing can sometimes be found in the most unexpected places.![]()

Yes, we’re learning how to play padel. But we’re also building connections, trying new things, getting active and creating space in our week to do something just for ourselves.![]()

One of the things we love most about this partnership with @smashpadel_whitstable is how welcoming it is. You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be sporty. You just need to be willing to give it a go.![]()

These sessions are a reminder that wellbeing isn’t always about talking. Sometimes it’s about movement. Sometimes it’s about laughter. Sometimes it’s about being part of a group where everyone is cheering each other on.![]()

We really did try. We stayed open with the air conditioning running and gave it every chance, but unfortunately it has been incredibly quiet. Hospitality is something we care deeply about, but it is also a business, and simply opening the doors comes with significant costs before we’ve even welcomed our first guest.![]()

These decisions are never easy, and we genuinely hate disappointing anyone who may have been planning to visit us over the next couple of days.![]()
