A big thank you to Kris Searle from Happy Here CIC for being our guest Walker this morning and to all who attended.
We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather and the coffee stop at the Kings Hall was welcomed treat😊
Save the Date Wednesday 6th July at Thirty nine café. A very special lady and one of our attendees to the Women's group has kindly agreed to tell her story. Cassie is a beautiful person inside and out and is full of positivity and an inspiration to others ❤ ![]()
Cassie is a self-taught herbalist, who has always had a passion for natural medicine, but began studying in more detail after being given two neurological diagnoses - Fibromyalgia and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) early last year. ![]()
After being prescribed a cocktail of medication to help lesson pain and muscle spasms, Cassie soon realised that the side effects were just as debilitating. Her study and knowledge of herbs meant that she was able to blend and create herbal tea for herself. Her first tea was blended to help soothe and aid digestion. The tea successfully supported the digestive system to function more efficiently than her prescribed and over the counter medication. ![]()
Her business Bloomin' Wild Tea launched early this year, and her vision; to help support others, who like her need something a little extra to help support body, mind and spirit.![]()

Our first Make Mend and Motivate workshop was a complete success!😊
Lots of chatter and sharing of personal projects and knowledge.
It was wonderful to see the community quilt being stitched on and to see new faces.
Thankyou to Kay Stoner for co-facilitating, we are so excited to see this workshop grow🧵🧵🪡🪡
